Welcome to the Tool Box Blog
Celebrating different cultures through insightful perspectives and valuing cultural competence. Explore our blog to discover a world of understanding and connection. In this classroom, we celebrate all walks of life. We want everyone to feel welcomed in our class.

Values in Focus
We're excited to delve into the significance of values across different cultures, understanding how they shape our world and individual experiences. While in the classroom, I want to be able to celebrate all of the students cultures. We will be doing this by learning about each other. This means sharing our stories, traditions and celebrations and celebrating different heritages months in the classroom.

A Unique Perspective
As a person and as a teacher, I plan to continually learning and grow when it comes to learning about cultural awareness. I will do this by completing trainings and seminars to have better methods into ensuring all students and parents feel welcomed into my room. I will also continue to make the classroom welcoming environment for all who enter.
As a team, we will make sure you have the resources you may needs to talk with me, like a translator, if English is not your first language or hard of hearing. Along with this I will send home all handouts in multiple languages based on what your home language is.
If any of my families would ever like to come share their cultures, family structures or stories, please contact me! In this class, we celebrate everyone!

A Teacher Who Cares
I am a teacher who cares deeply about all of her students and their families. Each and every one of them, no matter their cultural background, religious beliefs, gender identity, abilities, or diverse family structures, is valid and loved.
This being said, our classroom will have a zero bullying and intolerance of others based on their diversity policy. We as a school believe everyone deserves a right to have an education in a safe and thriving environment, if you feel you are experiencing prejudice or bias, please contact me. We will confront the problem as a team along with our administration to stop such behaviors.
The button below has resource that allows for you to share how you are feeling mentally with people who are understanding the same stress you be experiencing as well.
